Iris print

Iris print

Iris print is an advanced colouring technique in which several different colours are combined to create a natural iris pattern that closely resembles the patient’s own eye. With the Multilens ML Soft design, Irisprint lenses can be manufactured in spherical powers ranging from –10.0 D to +15.0 D.

For the best colour match, we need a photo of both of the patient’s eyes, taken in daylight or through a biomicroscope.

When ordering, please also specify:

The lens’s base curve, diameter and power

The diameter of the iris pattern (11.3 or 12.3 mm), with or without a white background

Black/brown/grey or open pupil, and its diameter

Intended use: for occlusion or cosmetic purposes

Specifications for coloring

Craftsmanship

Colouring contact lenses is still a solid craft and we are proud that all our lenses are coloured on site in our production in Mölnlycke. Please contact our lens support for advice. We only colour our own ML Soft designs. Silicone hydrogel cannot be coloured.
