Definition of Cookies

A cookie is a small text file that the site you visit requests to save on your device. Cookies are used on many websites to allow a visitor access to various features.

Two types of cookies

How we use cookies

Multilens uses session cookies. A session cookie lives as long as your browser is open. When you close your browser the session cookie is lost.  If you open a new browser, it creates a new session cookie.

  • ASP:NET_ SessionId
    This cookie keeps track of what choices you make while browsing the site. It also keeps your interaction separated from other users on the site.
  • selectedListType
    Usability cookie displaying how you have configured the presentation of the products.
  • BasketSessionId
    As soon as you add products to the cart a cookie with your selection of products is set.
  • __RequestVerificationToken
    A cookie that is used during login process.

Multilens also saves other information in cookies. We save values that we use to retrieve your settings (such as automatic login, sorting in lists, etc.) in a database.

  • PT_OnlineBusiness_Authentication
    This cookie is used to identify you as a logged in user and contains a unique and auto generated user id. It will disappear when you log out, otherwise it is stored locally on your device for 3 days.

Google Analytics is used to collect information about our visitors, which is done using cookies. We receive information about how visitors use the site, which pages were visited, where visitors come from, the number of visits, and the type of device used during the visit. The purpose of collecting this information is to improve and develop the website. We do not collect any information that can identify who the visitor is, and we will never send the information collected to third parties. We do not collect information about our visitors ' visits to other websites.
We use third-party providers such as Facebook and Youtube. These features use their own cookies that are saved, we recommend that you visit these websites for more information about how they use cookies and what conditions apply.

How to control cookies

If you do not accept the use of cookies, you can turn off cookies through your browser's security settings. You can also set your browser to receive a warning every time the website tries to put a cookie on your computer. The browser may also delete previously stored cookies.
