Multilens AB expands presence in the Spanish market through acquisition of Ayudas Opticas
Multilens AB will strengthen its position in the Spanish market segment for special optics. The company was approached and has now signed an agreement to acquire Ayudas Opticas/MLOptics from its founder and CEO, Maria Clavero. Ayudas Opticas/MLOptics is one of the major players for special optics in Spain and an important export channel for Multilens AB. The purchase of Ayudas Opticas/MLOptics enhance Multilens ambition to be an important European producer of special optics.

Ayudas Opticas/MLOptics runs a modern sales office in Madrid covering the full product portfolio for special optics, offers covers both ready to order products and individual solutions based on customer-specific recipes. Ayudas Opticas/MLOptics generated sales of about € 1 million in 2018 and employs 6 people. Multilens will continue to run Ayudas Opticas/MLOptics activities will be run under the well-established name: MLOptics.
